ABOUT MARTY CLARKE CONSULTING

Built for the work between strategy and execution.

Marty Clarke Consulting helps owner-led and growing businesses solve the interconnected problems that sit between business strategy, operations, digital infrastructure, marketing, and implementation.

MCC is built for situations where the business does not simply need another recommendation or another vendor. It needs someone to understand the larger system, determine what should happen next, and help turn that plan into working infrastructure.

WHY MCC EXISTS

Businesses rarely experience their problems one department at a time.

A website problem may also be a positioning, ownership, vendor, analytics, and operational problem. A marketing problem may begin with inconsistent client processes. An AI project may fail because the underlying workflow was never documented.

Traditional vendors are often hired to complete one task. Traditional advisers may stop after making a recommendation. MCC was created to work across that gap—connecting diagnosis, strategy, implementation, ownership, and documentation around the needs of the business.

Problems are connected.

The visible issue is often one part of a larger operational, digital, or ownership problem.

Advice needs an implementation path.

A recommendation should identify the work, sequence, responsibilities, approvals, risks, and next decision.

Deliverables need an operating system.

A website, CRM, AI tool, or process is more valuable when the organization knows how to use, maintain, and govern it.

Ownership matters.

A business should have appropriate control of the accounts, data, documentation, and assets on which it depends.

FOUNDER

Marty Clarke

Founder and Principal Consultant

Marty Clarke founded MCC to help businesses address the problems that fall between conventional service categories. His work brings together business development, operational thinking, digital strategy, website systems, marketing infrastructure, real estate experience, product planning, and AI-enabled workflows.

Marty’s approach begins with understanding how the business actually works: where information lives, who controls critical assets, how clients move through the organization, where decisions become delayed, and what the team will realistically maintain after implementation.

Rather than beginning with a predetermined tool or deliverable, MCC begins with the business objective, maps the connected system, and builds an appropriate path from the current state to a stronger operating model.

Marty works directly across MCC engagements. The firm is intentionally founder-led, allowing the strategy, client context, implementation decisions, and final handoff to remain connected.

THE MCC PERSPECTIVE

A systems view of a growing business

The business comes before the tool.

Software, automation, websites, and AI should support a defined business need. The project should not begin with a platform looking for a problem.

Ownership is an operating issue.

Domains, accounts, analytics, data, credentials, and documentation are not administrative details. They determine whether the company can continue operating when a person or vendor changes.

Client experience and operations are connected.

The promises made by marketing must be supported by the workflows, communication, approvals, and delivery systems behind the business.

Complexity should earn its place.

A system should be no more complicated than the business requires. Additional tools, automations, and process layers should have a clear purpose.

AI requires human accountability.

AI can assist with research, preparation, organization, drafting, and repetitive workflows. People remain responsible for judgment, approval, and important decisions.

Documentation protects progress.

A system that exists only in one person’s memory is difficult to scale, transfer, secure, or improve.

OPERATING PRINCIPLES

How MCC approaches the work

Diagnose before prescribing.

Understand the current environment, objective, risks, dependencies, and constraints before recommending a platform or solution.

Protect the downside first.

Address ownership gaps, access risk, missing backups, unclear responsibilities, uncontrolled scope, and major dependencies before adding complexity.

Build client-owned infrastructure.

Use client-controlled accounts and assets wherever practical, with vendors receiving the permissions needed for their role.

Connect strategy with execution.

The recommendation, implementation sequence, user experience, ownership structure, documentation, and operating process should support one another.

Define scope in writing.

Deliverables, responsibilities, exclusions, approvals, timing assumptions, and change procedures should be clear before major work begins.

Design for actual use.

Systems should reflect the people, knowledge, time, and operating capacity available to maintain them.

Document and transfer.

Provide the client with an understandable record of what was built, how it works, who owns it, and what should happen next.

Improve through evidence.

Use feedback, observed use, analytics, testing, and business results to prioritize future improvements without manufacturing certainty.

WHO MCC HELPS

Built for businesses that have outgrown informal systems.

Owner-Led Businesses

The founder remains central to decisions and delivery but needs clearer systems, delegation, documentation, and operating visibility.

Growing Professional Practices

The business has added clients, services, locations, vendors, or team members faster than its infrastructure has matured.

Multi-Location Organizations

Each location needs local relevance while the organization needs shared standards, ownership, governance, and reporting.

Businesses in Transition

The organization is changing vendors, rebuilding a website, reorganizing accounts, launching a new system, or correcting unclear digital ownership.

Service Businesses with Complex Client Journeys

Marketing, intake, onboarding, communication, delivery, approvals, invoicing, and offboarding need to operate as one connected experience.

Teams Exploring Practical AI

The organization wants useful automation and decision support but needs defined workflows, human review, data boundaries, and implementation discipline.

MCC is most effective when leadership is willing to examine the underlying system—not only the most visible symptom.

HOW MCC IS STRUCTURED

Founder-led, flexible, and accountable.

MCC is led directly by Marty Clarke. Strategy, project context, major recommendations, and implementation decisions remain connected rather than being passed through layers of account management.

When a project requires specialized legal, tax, accounting, design, engineering, development, IT, security, or industry expertise, MCC may coordinate with the client’s existing professionals or approved outside specialists. Those responsibilities should be defined clearly in the engagement scope.

Direct Founder Involvement

Clients work with the person responsible for understanding the problem and shaping the engagement.

Specialists When the Scope Requires Them

Outside expertise can be incorporated without presenting every capability as an internal employee function.

Clear Authority and Responsibility

The client, MCC, and each outside provider should know who advises, who approves, who implements, and who owns the final decision.

TRUST IS STRUCTURAL

Credibility should be visible in how the work is organized.

Written Scope

The engagement should define what MCC will deliver, what is excluded, what the client must provide, and how changes are approved.

Client-Controlled Assets

Core business accounts and digital assets should remain under appropriate client ownership wherever practical.

Named Access

Administrative access should use named accounts, role-appropriate permissions, MFA, and documented removal procedures where supported.

Honest Status Reporting

Project reporting should distinguish completed work, open questions, known risks, dependencies, and future recommendations.

No Guaranteed Outcomes

MCC does not guarantee revenue, rankings, traffic, savings, adoption, platform recovery, AI accuracy, or other results outside its control.

Documented Handoff

The client should receive a clear record of the systems, assets, decisions, responsibilities, and next actions included in the scope.

Professional boundaries matter.

MCC provides business consulting, systems design, digital strategy, project planning, implementation support, and vendor coordination. MCC does not act as the client’s attorney, CPA, tax preparer, investment adviser, payroll provider, medical professional, licensed engineer, or cybersecurity auditor.

Legal, tax, accounting, employment, regulatory, financial, clinical, and other licensed-professional decisions should remain with qualified advisers.

  • MCC does not guarantee business, marketing, search, financial, operational, or AI outcomes.
  • Client decisions remain subject to client approval.
  • Third-party platforms control their own availability, pricing, policies, recovery procedures, and technical behavior.
  • Final scope and responsibilities are governed by the applicable written agreement.
  • Confidential project information should not be submitted through a general public inquiry.

Bring the whole business problem into the conversation.

Tell MCC what your organization is trying to build, fix, transition, connect, or scale.
